Recently I spoke at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma Washington, and it was a fantastic time for me. It was my first time to visit the Emerald City and the great Pacific North West. The response from the student-athlete's afterwards was awesome. It always make's me feel like I am truly making a difference in this world. The Asst. Athletic Director Jennifer Thomas took the time to write a recommendation for me, and I would like to share with you.
Joe Rhea recently spoke with the student-athletes at Pacific Lutheran University and did a great job. His life lessons were thought provoking, informative, and powerful. Most of our students have not been exposed to the situations that Joe has encountered therefore, the personal accounts he shared made the presentation more powerful and memorable. He held the audience of 500 student-athletes captive for the whole hour.
On behalf of all of our student-athletes, thank you for coming to Pacific Lutheran University to present your message of “Bars, Cars, and Catastrophes”.
