Wow the summer has gone by so fast. Even though its blistering hot here in Kansas City today 98*, I still prefer heat over freezing any day.

I know I haven't updated my blog in awhile, and that's because I have been concentrating on finishing my book, "Hey Mister Why You Got Screws In Your Brains?" and also doing the leg work that needs to be done. I have been calling and emailing and sending out marketing materials, etc... With the hope that my message and story will intrigue them enough to ask me to speak at their Universities.

Thus far it seems to be paying off, but I am so driven that I find myself never satisfied with the amount of schools I have on the calendar. But this fall is looking good; here are just a few of the schools that have asked me to come speak to their students:

University of Colorado,

Troy University in Alabama,

Eastern Illinois University,

Wingate University in North Carolina.

With more waiting to find the right date to bring my presentation in. It's exciting traveling the country and seeing the different parts of the Union. It moves me very deeply when I visit a place and leave with a sweet reminder of why I do what I do. The thank yous that I receive, the gratitude that is shown from the Directors who ask me to speak, telling me they know I have saved lives.

Everyday I learn new things, ways to get my message out there. It would be easy if I were famous, but I am not. It would be easier if I had actually played collegiate baseball and excelled as I had for seen. Yet I only wish that the individuals who reads this, and with whom I will speak to in the future; understand that we need difference makers, we need leaders who are willing to take a stand. I am one of those individuals, and will always be.

Thanks again for taking the time to read a little of what I feel is so important!
