I wanted to thank you for coming to speak to the Western Illinois University student-athletes on February 22nd. I feel that your presentation - Bars, Cars and Catastrophes - is a powerful program that every high school and college student should hear. The students were moved by the personal stories of those that have suffered catastrophic injuries as a result of car accidents. Your professional quality visual aids added to the students' depth of understanding. Sharing the private account of your own tragic accident and subsequent astonishing recovery humbled many of our student athletes and made them appreciative of the lives and bodies they have.
