what's up!

Is it me, or do the golfing stars seem to be aligned just right? Tiger Woods is again The Open Champion. That's awesome! While Tiger Woods is undoubtedly the most talented golfer in the world, and he is arguably also the most mentally tough golfer in the world. Without mental toughness, he would only be an average golfer at best. You can take the best athletes in the world, the best corporate executive officers in the world, and the ones that rise to the top, are the ones that have mental fortitude. They have the ability to stay focused, to remember that the achievement of the goal is what they set out to accomplish. To finish! Tiger Woods is now 9 major titles from achieving his goal of breaking the record of 18 major wins held by Jack Nicklaus. I have no doubt he will achieve this goal.
What are your goals? Do you have goals? Daily goals, weekly goals, monthly goals, yearly goals, and lifelong goals. Do you have something to strive for? Do you challenge yourself? I only ask because I find people often have no goals at all, and are afraid to even set them. I have found that achieving goals, big or small, gives one some sense of pride. It tells you that YES YOU CAN. You have to ask the question. But first you have to set the goal. Set the goal! Just get it done.
